简　　介

　　伊丽莎白．赫曼饰演十八岁的白人瞎眼少女，平常与粗鲁的母亲和老迈的祖父同住，生活黝黑无光。这一天她请求祖父上班时顺便带她到公园去，才第一次呼吸到清新空气。她在树下做串珠子的手工时，获得好心的西德尼．波埃特帮助，两人发生了豪情，只是并不晓得对方是黑人。编导盖伊．格林用温馨细致的手法来处置这段黑白之段，并无高声的呐喊控诉，却使人对女配角的遭受发生由衷的怜悯，是一部彰显人性之光的佳作。饰演母亲的谢利．温特斯获得最好女配角金像奖。
